Presents
South Otselic’s 4th Annual Fishing Heritage Day
 Saturday, May 19, 2012  9 am to 4 pm

In recognition of South Otselic’s historic sport fishery and fishing line industry, a special day-long celebration is planned for Saturday, May 19, 2012 in cooperation with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC), and the Chenango Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited.  This event will be held from 9 am until 4 pm at DEC’s fish hatchery, located on State Hwy. 26 in South Otselic, New York, and at the Town Park.  Activities planned at the hatchery include a trout fishing clinic for beginners, tours and exhibits, as well as fishing in the adjacent trout-stocked Otselic River.

People of all ages are invited and welcome to attend.  Admission, bus transportation between venues, and parking are all FREE throughout the day.

•  A $15 non-refundable donation is requested to hold a 10’ X 10’ space for vendors at the Town Park, providing your own tent with set-up in a designated area; or, for

• a $25 non-refundable donation, a 10’ X 10’ space may be reserved under a large tent that will be provided. 

• A limited number of tables are available for a nominal ($5.00) fee, or vendors may provide their own.

• Complimentary coffee, tea, water, and light refreshments beginning at 6 a. m. will be available for vendors in the town hall area.

• Nonprofit organizations may reserve a FREE space in a designated area using their own tent and table, or rent one below, pending availability.  A tent is strongly recommended due to possible weather changes.

SPONSORED BY: Otselic Valley Fishing & Heritage Association (OVF&HA)

SET-UP TIMES:

• Friday, May 18, 2012: 1 pm to 6 pm (no overnight security provided)

• Saturday, May 19, 2012: 5 am to 9 am

DESIGNATED SPACES: All reserved spaces are outside and measure 10' x 10'.
There is no vehicle entry into the park for unloading.

FOOD and RESTROOMS:  Are available in the Town Park, across the street, and in town.

VENDOR PARKING:  After unloading, vendors will be directed to the dealer parking area.

DIRECTIONS:  From Route 26 traveling south, turn right on County Route 13 in the center of town.  Park is on your left. From Route 26 traveling north, turn left on County Route 13 in the center of town.  Park is on your left.
